AboutThe 24-hour Endless Mountains Adventure Race Lite is a one-day expedition-style event that will take racers on a journey through the southern Vermont. Trek, bike, packraft, and navigate along the state's sweeping vistas, cascading waterways, rich history of our nation's complex industrial past, and rugged terrain. As an expedition-style event, Endless-Lite will offer longer stages, a point-to-point format, and more self-sufficiency - both an accessible entrypoint into the world of multi-day racing and a standalone adventure in its own right! The race will take place on Friday, June 26 to Saturday, June 27, with the finish line with the end of the five-day Endless Mountains Adventure Race, a qualifying event for the Adventure Racing World Series. Race alongside some of the top adventure racers in the world (and those who are setting off on their first expedition race) and get a taste of what Vermont's Green Mountains have to offer Area LodgingThe race will be headquartered at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams, MA. We are working with the college to secure lodging for Lite race on Thursday night. Pricing TBD - stay tuned for more information. SuppliesNorth Adams has a host of amenities and a rich restaurant scene, for last minute pre-race shopping and fueling. ScheduleTHURSDAY: Optional but encouraged pre-race check-in. FRIDAY: The race will begin between 8am and 10am. Teams will be bused to a remote location before that. 2026 DetailsDATE: Friday to Saturday, June 26-27, 2026 DURATION: 24-26 hours, pending final scouting HEADQUARTERS: Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, North Adams, MA DIVISIONS: Solos; single- and mixed-gender teams of 2-4 racers PRICE: $300 per racer until February 15 $350 per racer February 16 through April 30 GEAR LIST: Available here. Team Limit and Wait ListThe event is currently capped at 100 participants. If we reach capacity, we will open a waitlist. Distances and DisciplinesDISTANCES: Distance estimates are tentative, subject to final scouting, and approximate; actual routes may vary considerably depending on navigation choices (and mistakes). There will be modified, short-course routes for teams that are less experienced in the sport. Estimates are for the complete, full-course and are subject to tweaks based on final scouting.
